Hi! I’m Lauren. I create visuals through the lens of pastor, artist, graphic designer, and theologian. I consider myself a visual exegete, which means I interpret scripture and theological themes through visual exploration. I want my art to be generative in that it helps you connect with well-worn biblical stories anew, and inspires an eagerness to dig deeper. My hope is to create progressive Christian art that accompanies spiritual wanderers and helps free Divine imagination.

I feel like my primary language has always been the visual arts. At pivotal times in my life, I found comfort and a way forward through the creative process. Visual exploration offers me a holy space to ask questions, find footing in my voice, take risks, and make bold statements. I hope my devotional art provides a safe space for you to do the same, and perhaps encourages within you a curious and resilient kind of faith.
