This image was inspired by Genesis 1 through the lens of the themes “air” and “generosity”. The shining wisdom of the Holy Spirit descends in the center of the piece. From the feathered Advocate swirls the breath of life—the very same air that fills our lungs—the very same breath that gives all creatures life—the very same wind that lifts and holds birds in their soaring.

Birds of all kinds dance in gratitude around the Spirit, embracing the air and celebrating the gift of life. May we orient ourselves around the breath of God, recognizing, honoring, and protecting the breath of life that flows through ever facet of Creation.
