… In this image I wanted to remain focused on Rebekah’s almost absurd hospitality. Her hair swirls and overflows like the water from her jar. Her act of hospitality brings Abraham’s servant to worship God. She is a strong leader, one who certainly becomes ‘thousands of myriads’ (Gen 24:60)… (full artist statement available in download)
